DIO vs Ganondorf is the sixth DBX created by Professor Mewtwo. It features Dio Brando from the anime/manga JoJo's Bizarre Adventure pitted against Ganondorf from the video game series Legend of Zelda.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure vs Legend of Zelda! These gods among men have plagued the world for centuries requiring an entire lineage of noble heroes to keep them at bay. Now it's time to see which power hungry monster dominates the other. Will Ganondorf's magic be too much for the vampire, or will victory belong to him, DIO!

In the abandoned ruins that was once Hyrule Castle, a tall dark-skinned man played on his organ like the supervillain he is. His name was Ganondorf, King of the Gerudo, and he was enjoying himself as he had officially conquered and destroyed Hyrule (if I had a nickel for every time that happened).
Suddenly, the door behind him flew open and he turned around to see a man stand before him. Ganondorf was expecting it to be the Hero of Time, and while he did have the blond hair to match, the matching outfit told him that it wasnβt the Hero, it was him DIO! Regardless, Ganondorf got up from his stand and confronted the intruder, sensing an interesting challenger in him that he could test his power on.
Ganondorf: To think a mere man like yourself, who doesnβt possess the blessing of the goddesses, managed to reach me in my castle. Your power must be quite formidable.
DIO: And to think you managed to conquer this kingdom all on your own. Tell me what power you possess. I want to see it with my own eyes.
DIOβs voice was as soothing as his body was sexy, and it calmed Ganondorf down to the point that he lowered his guard. And that was all part of DIOβs plan.
DIO extended his hair and small little flesh buds popped out from the tips. His intention was to stick one of them onto Ganondorfβs forehead and turn him into his mindless servant. He flung his hair forward, hoping to strike the Demon King while he was vulnerable. However, Ganondorf caught on quickly and grabbed the hair before it could reach him. He concentrated dark magic into his hand and destroyed the strand of hair. Ganondorf realized just how dangerous his new opponent was now and got into a fighting position.
Ganondorf: You are quite foolish to think you can strike down a king!
DIO: *laughs maniacally* What is a king to a god?
After making his retort, DIO vanished into thin air. Ganondorf was shocked at his disappearance, but that shock soon turned into fear when he felt a menacing presence behind him. Though Ganondorf couldnβt see it, he knew DIO was there striking a pose and that if he wanted to keep his throne, he would have to fight with every inch of his power.
HERE WE GOOO!!!
Summoning a ghost-like presence to surround his arms, DIO beats Ganondorf with a series of punches then uses a stronger punch to knock the Demon King back. Ganondorf lands on his feet and shrugs off the damage. Most men would have been knocked out after that assault to say the least, but Ganondorf was something else.
Ganondorf: *laughs in evil* You call yourself a god with those parlor tricks? Allow me to show you what true magic looks like!
Ganondorf levitatited into the air and swinged his hands outwards to unleash a wave of darkness. The darkness enveloped the room, making the organ disappear and converting everything into a huge arena for the two to fight in. Though impressive, DIO did not have time to acknowledge it as the darkness was also pushing him back.
DIO: Heβs stronger than I anticipated! Iβll have to end this quickly!
DIO took out a knife and tossed it into the air and a ghostly arm manifested to catch it. It threw the knife for DIO, and with its superior strength the knife took off a rocket. The knife slashed Ganondorf across the neck, breaking his concentration and allowing DIO to run in to attack. He jumped into the air and grabbed Ganondorfβs face then slammed him into the ground.
Ganondorf made sure DIOβs assault was short-lived and teleported out of his grip and into the air. He proceeded to charge up a ball of light in his hand and throw it at DIO. The ball struck DIO in the back and paralyzed him by covering the vampireβs body with light. This gave Ganondorf the chance he needed to counterattack and he did so by diving down with a Wizardβs Foot.
The Demon King kicked DIO in the head with a mighty blow of dark magic and followed it up by landing some more magic-enhanced hits on his foe. DIO could feel his body being shattered with each hit and it got even worse when Ganondorf pulled out a big sword to smash him off stage.
Ganondorf: Doriyah!
Ganondorfβs swing launched DIO into a wall. The effects of his light ball were still going on so Ganondorf did not hesitate to jump in to deliver another swing. But DIO was a cunning one. He may not have been able to move, yet the Stand within him could and all he had to do was summon it.
DIO: THE WORLD!
At DIOβs command, The World, the ghost-like being that had been backing him up, left DIOβs body to make a full appearance. His body was solid gold and resembled a holy diver. Ganondorf would know as he was heading right towards it. The World made sure Ganondorfβs sword would not make contact by punching the Demon King so hard in the face that he dropped the sword and flew into the ceiling.
DIO felt the paralysis lose effect, got up, and watched as his opponent fell to the ground, too dazed and surprised to focus on the fight. Thinking this was the chance to deal the fatal blow, DIO commanded The World to throw as many punches as possible once Ganondorf got within range.
DIO: MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!
With one more punch, The World sent Ganondorf flying once again. The Demon King felt a lot of pain from the Standβs powerful attacks, but unfortunately for the vampire, it couldnβt do enough damage to finish him. Ganondorf stopped his flight by planting his feet to the ground and presented himself to DIO showing that he had no scratches or bruises on him.
DIO: Impossible! How can you take the full force of The Worldβs punches and still be standing like that?
Ganondorf answered that question by raising up his right hand and revealing a glowing triad of triangles on it with the one on the top glowing brighter than the others.
Ganondorf: With this power at my hands, no mortal man can hope to defeat me!
DIO was not going to let that get him down and lunged at his opponent. He summoned The World to wind up a devastating punch, and Ganondorf did the same, charging up energy in the hand he showed for a Warlock Punch. Their fists collided and let out a shockwave that shook the whole castle before pushing the two evil combatants back.
Both landed on their feet and DIO kept the intensity going by taking out dozens of knives and tossing them. Ganondorf responded by summoning an array of fireballs and throwing them at the knives. The projectiles collided and canceled their velocities, though DIO wasnβt quite finished. He got out another set of knives and Ganondorf braced himself for the throw, but out of nowhere knives appeared and surrounded the Demon King, catching him by surprise.
Of course, it wouldnβt be enough to down Ganondorf who took out a Sword of the Sages and deflected all the knives with a spinning swing that would have made his nemesis file a lawsuit if he were present. But this all according to DIOβs plan. The vampire was actually right above Ganondorf and ready to sneak attack him, but when he tried to throw a punch Ganondorf proved that he was one step ahead by stopping the attack with his blade.
Ganondorf: Your tricks are getting predictable.
Ganondorf parried DIO off of him and started slashing the vampire repeatedly, drawing blood with each blow. DIO attempted to retaliate by summoning The World to intercept Ganondorf's assault, but the Demon King reacted quickly and dodged the attack and zoomed in to grab DIO by the throat. Using the Flame Choke, Ganondorf blasts DIO with dark magic to incapacitate him before throwing him several feet away.
Not wanting his opponent to have time to recover, Ganondorf summoned an army of pig-nosed Moblins and had them charge at DIO. The vampire kept The World close to him and the two beat the horsemen one by one, causing each of them to dissipate with only one hit. He was so focused on the Moblins that DIO failed to notice Ganondorf flying through the swarm of monsters and getting close to The World. Ganondorf moved faster than the Stand could react and stabbed it through the chest with his sword, and as per Stand law, DIO also felt the pain as a hole similar to the one now in The World now formed in his chest.
Ganondorf: A valiant effort, but your life ends now.
DIO: Hmph. Your arrogance will be your downfall.
Ganondorf knew that retort meant DIO had a plan, though he didnβt get time to figure out what it was as he suddenly felt an incredible pain in his chest. As if thousands of punches had struck him at once, Ganondorf yelped in pain as he got blasted away by an unknown force. When he came to his senses, Ganondorf saw that his opponent was staring at him arrogantly and that the wound in his chest had patched itself up. Seeing his opponent smiling in perfect condition compared to his beaten one made Ganondorf all the more angrier.
Ganondorf: Donβt mock me!
The Demon King springed into action and tried to decapitate DIO, but the vampire disappeared at the very moment he swung his sword. He heard something now coming from behind and leaped away from a surprise punch from The World. The World got to work putting Ganondorf on the defensive as it threw a barrage of punches that its target desperately tried to block it all with his sword.
DIO: MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!
Ganondorf looked like he was going to break at any moment so The World threw an extra powerful punch only for Ganondorf to be one step ahead and teleport out of the way. He reappeared right behind The World and jumped off his back, using the added momentum to reach DIO and bisect him in the head. Normally, this would be game, set, match, but DIO still lingered to life and grabbed Ganondorf by the arms.
Ganondorf: What!?
As DIOβs two halves merged back together, his hands started freezing Ganondorf, threatening to encase him in a block of ice. The Demon King couldnβt have that so he used his legs to kick DIO away then broke the ice by flexing his dark magic. Unfortunately, Ganondorf lost his sword in the struggle and DIO had The World remove it from his chest and hurl it at its owner. Ganondorf barely managed to dodge and the sword lodged itself in a nearby wall.
DIO: I see. So that sword can do what I cannotβ¦
Ganondorf froze at DIOβs realization. He wasnβt sure how DIO figured that out until he felt blood drip down from his cheek. Apparently, the Sword of the Sages had grazed him and revealed that despite having a near-invincible body, holy weapons could still deal the fatal blow.
DIO: I wonβt let that weapon go to waste!
DIO ran past Ganondorf and made a break for the sword, hoping to use it to defeat his foe. It was a perfect plan, except Ganondorf wasnβt going to let it come to fruition.
Ganondorf: Donβt think Iβll let you touch that sword again!
Ganondorf chased after DIO, throwing fireballs to try and fry his opponent before it was too late. DIO dodged the attack no problem, but his evasive maneuvers slowed him down allowing Ganondorf to get in close enough to grab DIO by the neck. He tried to strangle the vampire with his dark magic, yet in the most bizarre turn of events, he found himself lying literally in an instant. The World was currently holding his face down while DIO smiled at him, declaring his checkmate.
DIO: How oh so very foolish of you to fall for such a simple bluff. It seems that I, DIO, was one step ahead of you.
Ganondorf: A bluff!? Explain yourself!
DIO: I made you think that I needed the sword to beat you since your body canβt be harmed normally, but your body can still feel pain. I just needed to believe I was going for the sword, although if I can beat you unconscious first then get the sword and call checkmate before you realize it!
Ganondorf: Why you-
DIO: MUDA!
DIO had The World silence Ganondorf with a punch then threw a lot more punches to carry out DIOβs diabolical plan.
DIO: MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!
The vampire was pummeling the Demon King into the ground so hard it was making a crater. Ganondorf was enduring the pain as best he could, yet he still felt his consciousness slipping away with every punch. It was almost lights out for him until he got his second wind and clenched his fist activated the triangles on his hand a.k.a the Triforce of Power.
From that hand came a burst of power that knocked DIO away. The vampire landed on his feet and witnessed his opponent get enveloped in dark magic and undergo a terrifying transformation.
Ganondorf: You. Will. PERISH!
Ganondorf grew to gargantuan size and his face went from man to pig. He was no longer a mere man, was Ganon, the scourge of Hyrule. To complete the look Ganon formed two giant swords and started swinging at the now miniscule DIO. The vampire knew a head on was suicide so he started dodging Ganonβs swords. Despite his best efforts, Ganonβs improved strength and speed made it difficult and he got dangerously close to being cut in half with every swing.
One of the swords eventually got too close, so DIO summoned The World to catch it. That was a bad move because the sword proved too strong and overpowered the Stand sending it, and by extension DIO, high up into the air. Ganon followed it up with another sword attack which slashed DIO hard, hitting him with enough force to slice his leg off and launch him into the wall where the Sword of the Sages lay.
The vampireβs impact broke the wall, causing many pieces of concrete to bury him. DIO pushed aside those pieces and got up breathing heavily. There was no way he could take another hit like that and it would take too long to reattach his leg too. DIO needed a plan, and he found one when he noticed the Sword of the Sages on the ground next to him. He picked it up with the intention of slaying the demon before him only to realize that said demon was about to finish him off by slamming down his giant sword on him. Backed into a corner, DIO had no choice but to use his signature technique to save himself.
DIO: THE WORLD!!!
Using the power of his Stand, DIO unleashed the secret behind his disappearing acts. The World came out and distorted the fabric of reality around it, causing time itself to freeze and forcing Ganonβs attack to a halt.
DIO got up, using The World to substitute his missing leg, and went after Ganonβs legs for payback. He slashed them both with the Sword of the Sages leaving gaping cuts on them both before getting to a safe distance in order to watch the results.
DIO: And time flows againβ¦
Time began to flow normally and the cut wounds on Ganon grew bigger causing the giant pig to squeal in pain. He almost fell to his knees, but his tenacity kept him standing as he turned around to locate his attacker. Upon finding the vampire and seeing the holy sword in his hands, Ganon grew furious and attacked with an upwards swing. DIO blocked it with the sword, but got knocked high into the air anyway.
The Demon King looked up and charged a fiery breath to strike down his airbound target, although he failed to realize that DIO had him right where he wanted. DIO gave the Sword of the Sages to The World who hurled it right into Ganonβs forehead, causing unfathomable pain and making him squeal in pain again. However, Ganon was not beaten yet and quickly regained his senses to continue charging his attack. He was on the verge of firing, but DIO countered to ensure his victory.
DIO: THE WORLD!!!
Freezing time once again, Ganon was stuck with a sword in his forehead and DIO landed himself on that same forehead to finish the job. Gazing at the Sword of the Sages, DIO covered his hands with that of The World and combined his power with his Stand to punch the sword downward as many times as physically possible.
DIO: MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!!!
Feeling the effects of his time freeze wear off, DIO went for one last punch.
DIO: THIS IS THE END! MUDA!!!
The last hit sent a minor shockwave through the room and DIO proceeded to jump off as time went back to normal. Thanks to the accumulated strikes, the Sword of the Sages rocketed through Ganon like a missile and came out the other end to lodge itself in the ground. The sheer force of the super thrust tore Ganon from the inside out and his body soon split into two halves before each of them fell to the ground.
DIO landed soon after and took a good look at his defeated opponent. He may have lost a potential servant, but he proved to the king that he couldnβt match a god like himself. Feeling satisfied, DIO got into a pose and let out a victory scream.
DIO: WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
