LOCATION: Abandoned Dojo
Walking through what was once a fine dojo was the Devil Hunter, Dante. He was told about a brawl that ensured in the dojo where it went up in flames, but little was burned down due to rainfall. Meanwhile, the Black Swordsman, Guts, walked up to Dante and tries to slash him, but Dante avoids it and believes Guts to be a challenger. Pulling out his pistols, he gets ready to fight.
(Cue Dodging Bullets)
Phase: Berserk Devil![]
HEAVEN OR HELL!
HERE WE GOOO!
Dante starts the battle by firing his pistols at Guts, who dodges them and runs towards Dante and slashes, with Dante avoiding it. Dante then leaps off of a nearby well for an attempted rain of bullets. Guts pushes Dante backwards and tries slashing him, but Dante counters and delivers a high kick to Guts' face. Dante tries kneeing Guts in the face, but the Black Swordsman punches him back. Dante pulls out Rebellion and uses his intense speed to deliver quick slashes to Guts back and forth before comboing him into the air and back into the dojo. Dante walks forward, but Guts roars as he lunges forward toward the half-demon. Guts slashes Dante before he kicks him back. Guts then uses his mechanical arm and fires multiple arrows, sending them towards Dante. Dante unleashes a wall of ice that freezes the arrows as they shatter when they hit the ground. Dante takes out Pandora as it turns into a Gatling gun. Dante rapidly fires bullets towards Guts, causing the Black Swordsman to avoid them, but Dante teleports in front of him and equips Gilgamesh before laying waste to Guts with quick punches. Guts steps back and revealed his arm cannon.
Guts: Die!
He shoots at Dante's face, causing him to stagger back. Dante pulls out Nevan and fires a lightning blast at Guts, who deflects it with his sword back at Dante, who avoids it. Dante then pulls out Pandora once more as it turns into a spinning top with blades before throwing it at Guts, who leaps at it and slashes through it with his blade, then clashes with Dante and Rebellion. Guts knocks Dante away, then leaps towards him as the two begin to duel. Dante tries using fast side-swipe slashes on Guts, but he blocks all of them, with the last move knocking Dragonslayer away from Guts. Dante tries to slash Guts, but the Black Swordsman headbutts him back before grabbing Dragonslayer.
(Cue Mechanical Rhythm - Xenoblade Chronicles)
Guts rushes towards Dante and the swords clash. After four clashes, Guts manages to corners Dante into the well from earlier. Dante blocks another blow from Guts' sword before leaping out of the way as Guts slashes the well. Shortly afterward, Guts is kicked back by Dante. Guts then resorts to the Berserker Armor while Dante enters his Devil Trigger form. The two warriors clash blades, but Guts manages to disarm Dante, causing the Devil Hunter to drop Rebellion. Dante avoids Guts' next attack and kicks his opponent's blade upward. Dante then quickly punches Guts back, leaving small scars on his body. Guts notices his sword coming back down and grabs it before dealing quick, heavy slash that sends Dante flying back. Dante painfully awakens inside of the dojo and sees Guts running towards him. Guts jumps up and plummets downward to deliver the final blow. Dante notices Rebellion and grabs it before carefully preparing to counter. Both swordsmen engage in one final thrust of their blades to determine the victor. A small glimmer appears and Guts screeches out in agony. Dante and Guts revert to normal before Dante quickly slices Guts multiple times, causing Guts to cease moving. Dante flips back and takes out Ebony & Ivory, firing no more than two bullets that strikes Guts' chest, leaving the Black Swordsman into noting but chunks of what remains of him on the floor. The screen fades to black.
