Location: Skies over Ecruteak City- Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal.

Blitzing through the skies at breakneck speed, Rainbow Dash blew through the clouds over the Johto region before coming to a stop atop a large cloud hanging over Ecruteak City. The blue pegasus glanced down at the historical city, making a mental note of the landmarks. There was the Ecruteak City gym, where talented trainers put their skills to the test against a challenging foe. And there was the Ecruteak Dance Theatre, where Kimono girls put on a dance performance, as well as offering battles. And of course there was the Bell Tower with a large orange phoenix flying above and casting fire blasts down at a young-
"Wait, what the hay is that?!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, rushing over to the Bell Tower, reaching the scene quickly. As she arrived, the Trainer's final Pokemon, a Meganium to be exact, had been taken down. The Trainer returned their Pokemon to its Poke Ball and the Rainbow Pokemon then lunged at the Trainer. But instead, Rainbow Dash lunged in and kicked Ho-Oh in the face, sending it tumbling.
"Stand back kid, I got this!" Rainbow Dash said with a grin on her face. Ho-Oh gathered itself and emitted a loud cry, blowing Rainbow Dash and the trainer back slightly. "YOU WANT SOME OF ME?!?!" the pegasus yelled back.
HERE WE GO!
Rainbow Dash quickly planted a double kick to Ho-Oh's chin, using her hind legs to strike. The impact knocked the Pokemon's chin up and allowed her to ram into its chest, barging it into the side of the bell with a loud gong. The embodiment of loyalty then began raining punches down into Ho-Oh's head until she was shook off. Ho-Oh then used Extrasensory, blasting Rainbow Dash away while it took to the sky again. Ho-Oh fired down a Sacred Fire towards Rainbow Dash, but the pegasus quickly whipped up a tornado to engulf the flames, then sent them back towards Ho-Oh. The Rainbow Pokemon avoided this and pelted their opponent with a Swift attack, bombarding the pegasus with repeated homing stars. Rainbow Dash then decided to simply fly through the attack, catching Ho-Oh in the chest with a lunging kick, then followed up with an uppercut to the jaw. The legendary Pokemon attempted to bite down at the Wonderbolt, but she weaved to the side and stomped down onto her foe's back, driving them front first to the ground.
Ho-Oh cried out and tried to free itself, but Rainbow's grip was too tight. After a while of struggling, the Rainbow Pokemon began to glow as it charged up Sky Attack. "Yeah, nope." Rainbow Dash said to herself, taking to the air, unsure of what was happening. Ho-Oh then took off, looped back around and caught the pegasus in the chest with the attack, blasting her into the tower back first. She slid down the side of the tower as Ho-Oh fired a Flamethrower down at her. Rainbow Dash quickly used her speed to take to the air, reaching a cloud that was appearing overhead. She took the cloud and placed it above Ho-Oh, then kicked it to send a bolt of lightning down from it onto the Pokemon, shocking them. Ho-Oh powered through the pain though and slashed Rainbow's wing with its own, then dug its claws into the pegasus and squeezed down tight, leaving cuts across Rainbow Dash's body.
Rainbow Dash struggled to try and pry herself free, resorting to biting down on Ho-Oh's leg to free herself. She then struck her opponent with a double kick to the chest, followed by repeated punches with her front hooves. Ho-Oh retaliated with a Fire Blast that caught Rainbow Dash in the midsection, sending her flying upwards. The pegasus used the momentum of the attack to gain extra distance on Ho-Oh, then made a break for them again, with a mach cone forming around them. Ho-Oh's answer was a Sacred Fire, casting the attack up at the incoming Wonderbolt. The attack made contact and formed a large explosion and a dust cloud in the sky. Ho-Oh then emitted a loud cry of victory, before a large rainbow repulsed from within the dust cloud, and a shielded Rainbow Dash donning her Element of Harmony burst through with a Sonic Rainboom. She burst through Ho-Oh's midsection, completely obliterating the legendary Pokemon, then fired a beam from her element up at the split parts of her foe, disintegrating the remains and leaving only a few feathers behind.

"Oh yeah!" Rainbow Dash cheered, as the trainer watched on in disbelief. Rainbow Dash then swooped down in front of the trainer. "No need to thank me, that's what I do, help protect the weak and defensele-"
The pegasus' monologue was cut short by a Poke Ball bouncing off her head. "What? Oh for..." she said before being sucked into the capsule.
