It's time for one of the biggest rivalries between Marvel & DC to come to an end! Jason Todd fights Bucky Barnes in the 200th DBX!

Ringmaster appears and walks onto the stage, grabbing the microphone from the ceiling.
Ringmaster: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my arena, where there's NO RULES, NO RESEARCH, ONLY BLOODSHED! I am Ringmaster, your announcer, your host extraordinaire for this extravaganza. And let me welcome you, to, THE EXHIBITION!!!

Ringmaster: I can't tell you how excited I am for today's fight! We got two sidekicks turned badass vigilantes! In one corner, we have the former Robin, the vigilante of Gotham City with a fear of crowbars, RED HOOD! And in the other corner, we have the former Soviet agent, the Avenging Vigilante and Brainwashed Super Soldier, WINTER SOLDIER!

Ringmaster: Now let's see what makes these two so badass! Jason Todd was once sidekick to the Batman, until he was crowbarred by a psychopathic comedian and left to explode. After being revived, he became the Red Hood, a vigilante with guns, explosives, and teenage angst galore!
*Ringmaster Cam Start*
Ringmaster: But he was taught by Batman, and if I ran into anyone that involves him, I'd be outta there!
*Ringmaster Cam End*
Ringmaster: On the other hand, Bucky Barnes was loyal sidekick to Captain America before being slain in World War II, but not really. He was found alive before being brainwashed by HYDRA, but don't worry, he got better. Now as the Winter Soldier, he's got guns, explosives, and even a metal arm! It's like punching people, but literally more metal.
Ringmaster gains a metal arm before breaking the ground.
Ringmaster: Will we see an intense gunfight? Maybe even a building get destroyed? Let's find out. So, without further ado, let the exhibition... BEGIN!!!

Intro[]
LOCATION: Factory
(Cue Seas of Time)
The Winter Soldier appears at the entrance of a broken factory before entering. He notices many blood stains on the floor before hearing gunshots in the distance. He then grabs his pistol and charges towards the noises. When he gets to the source of the sound, he points his gun forward at a figure before said figure does the same, revealing the Red Hood.
Winter Soldier: Who are you?
Red Hood: The cure for the sick and insane.
(Cue Parry Addiction - Yakuza 0)
Both shoot as they fly back from the recoil before reloading.
Phase: Hooded Soldiers![]
HERE WE GOOO!
They start firing their pistol before walking towards each other until Jason starts punching Bucky back. Barnes retaliates with his own attacks until the two get into a stalemate. Red Hood kicks Winter Soldier back, rolling two bombs towards him, but Bucky jumps back and fires at them, causing a small explosion. Bucky then pulls out a grenade launcher and fires, sending Jason back as the former Robin pulls out his knife. Winter Soldier pulls his own knife as the two start trading slashes, with Red Hood seemingly having the edge until Bucky attacks with his metal arm, knocking Jason's knife out of reach. Jason then threw remote bombs on the ground before detonating them, fleeing in the smoke. Bucky notices as the smoke subsides and follows him.
Winter Soldier: Oh no, you don't.
Red Hood notices his opponent behind him and starts shooting at him, but Bucky uses his metal arm to deflect the bullets. The two then reach a lab area before Jason throws a chair at Bucky, who shoots it before firing a machine gun at Todd, who takes cover behind a desk. Jason then throws three bombs at Bucky before striking them, causing the explosives to detonate. Red Hood starts attacking the dazed Winter Soldier before uppercutting him and slamming Bucky with the handle of his gun.
Red Hood: Upgrade your gear, pal.
Jason fires his pistol at Bucky, causing the super soldier to fall to the ground. Jason walks away before noticing a beeping sound, revealed to be a remote bomb.
Winter Soldier: Keep the change.
He detonates it as the area bursts into flames. Bucky gets up as both run towards each other.
(Cue Venom's Theme - Marvel VS. Capcom Infinite)
Red Hood quickly pulls out his pistol and fires, ricocheting off Winter Soldier's metal arm as the Gotham Vigilante places a mine under Bucky, who goes flying upwards. Jason jumps up and starts attacking the former Robin with punches and kicks, but Bucky recovers and starts to avoid the attacks before attacking with his metal arm. Barnes pulls out an assault rifle and starts firing, but the bullets are deflected by Red Hood's helmet. Jason smashes a computer screen and throws a shard of glass at Bucky, who dodges it and continues shooting his assault rifle in an attempt to weaken his opponent. He then throws a bomb at Red Hood, who catches it before it detonates, stunning him.
Winter Soldier: Now I got you.
Red Hood grabs Bucky's metal arm before slamming him onto a wall.
Red Hood: Is that a fact?
Jason throws three bombs as they explode, breaking the wall as both vigilantes go diving into the core of the factory.
(Cue Mach 13 Elephant Explosion - No More Heroes)
Jason lands on some debris as Bucky continues to fall. Todd starts firing his pistols as Bucky defends himself with his metal arm. Bucky grabs a nearby ledge and pulls out a sniper rifle, aiming it at Jason, who throws a bomb forward before Barnes fires, hitting the bomb as it explodes. A cloud of dust is formed between them as Bucky dives down and rams into Red Hood, sending them both towards the ground. As Jason lands on a platform above a pool of lava while holding his gut in agony. Winter Soldier lands where he was and punches him twice before pointing his pistol at Jason's head.
Winter Solider: You're done.
Suddenly, Red Hood stabs Bucky with his knife, causing the Avenger to recoil in pain with his hand flying back, missing Jason as he fires. Jason then kicks him down as the two land around the lava pool. The two put their guns away and raises their fists.
(Cue Jaw - Anarchy Reigns)
Both fighters runs forward as Jason throws a punch that causes Bucky to stagger back followed by two kicks and an uppercut. Red Hood goes for another punch, but Winter Soldier knees him in the gut before attacking with his metal arm and sending Todd back with a kick. Jason then recovers and runs forward towards Barnes before sliding under him and placing a bomb that sends Bucky upwards. Todd uses his dual pistols to barrage Bucky's body with bullet before bashing his firearms on Barnes' chest. Bucky headbutts Jason as he pulls out an assault rifle, firing multiple shots as Todd avoids them before throwing his knife at the Avenger, disarming him. The two continue their brawl as one of the bullets hits a boiler on the other side of the area.
(Cue A Stranger I Remain - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance)
As the boiler starts to heat up, Red Hood electrocutes his pistols as Bucky blocks an attack with his arm. Winter Soldier rolls back and fires his assault rifle and fires, but Jason runs towards the left, avoiding the bullets before throwing one of his pistols at the wall as it bounces off and hits Bucky in the head. Todd fires at Barnes, who does the same with his pistol. Red Hood retrieves his second pistol as the two start walking towards each other as they pull out their knifes, with Jason attacking first. Bucky dodges as the two go back and forth until the boiler explodes, causing the lava to rise up. Both fighters realize this and start to get to higher ground. Jason places bombs beneath him as he rockets upwards while Bucky fires his grenade launcher, sending him upwards to the entrance and where Jason was as the two clash.
Red Hood: This ends now!
Winter Soldier: Not until you're dead!
The two are sent back as they raises their fists and start trading blows, with Bucky eventually gaining the upper hand. Barnes jumps up and slams down with his metal arm, but Jason slides out of the way before throwing his knife, only for Bucky to deflect it into the lava below. Jason throws three smoke bombs, blinding Bucky's vision before dashing through the smoke with the All Blades. He slashes Winter Soldier multiple times before tasering him and kicking the Avenger back. Bucky sets an explosive behind him as it sends him towards the Gotham Outlaw. Barnes strikes Jason hard towards the wall before laying waste to his helmet until Jason knees him in the gut. The two then start trading blows for the last time with neither side gaining the upper hand until they both punch each other back as they hold their gut in pain. For the final draw, they pull out their pistols and fire, both bullets hitting home as Jason and Bucky are shot through the head as their lifeless corpses slump to the ground. Their hands release the guns as the screen fades to black.
