A brawl had broken out in the city, this afternoon Night Raid and the Revolutionary Army turned out to be very concerned about the racket going on in the city. "Someone will be sent out to check the drama out, okay?" Najenda added. "Ah don't worry I will go!" Lubbock said, and had a very mindful thought about Najenda to win her over by tonight. For this special mission, only one individual Night Raider would be sent out. "And this mission goes to Tatsumi!" Najenda demanded. "Wow really?! Thank you!" Tatsumi added, smiling.
"GOOD LUCK TATSUMI, WE WISH YOU THE BEST!" All of the Night Raid members shouted.
"And please don't die..." Mine added, feeling worried about Tatsumi. In the back Lubbock was thinking to himself. "I thought I could go on this mission and impress Najenda by completing it..." He said to himself quietly, not stopping to think about something else. I guess Lubbock would try something?
Over to the city...
When he arrived to the city, A HUGE BRAWL AND INTENSE ONE HAD BROKEN OUT FIERCELY! "Nothing looks bad, right?" Tatsumi asked himself, walking down the busy street as he minded his own business. The crowd of the city took cover as the assault continued manipulatively, scaring thousands of people nearby. It was Dr. Eggman who was spreading all this kind of destruction! "AHA- BOW DOWN TO THE EGGMAN EMPIRE!" Eggman demanded, looking down at every single person. "This is horrible... I can't just let everyone suffer like this!" Tatsumi said aloud, feeling worried about the people. Sonic had appeared in the scene, breaking every single of Eggman's robots as Tatsumi dropped in and destroyed most of them.
"THE NIGHT RAID ASSASSIN, TATSUMI!" Eggman said from above, catching Tatsumi's attention. "Oh no, you must be Dr. Eggman!" He replied. "You're a huge threat to the world, along with Night Raid... THE STORIES I'VE HEARD ABOUT!" Dr. Eggman shouted. Sonic struck his nemesis down to the ground, destroying Eggman's vehicle into several broken pieces. "CURSE YOU SONIC... AND TATSUMI!"
"Tatsumi?" Sonic wondered. "Eggman said you were a threat, and this whole Night Raid thing too." The hedgehog stated. "You don't understand, I was sent out to rescue the city Sonic!" Tatsumi replied, trying to get Sonic to believe him. "I'm not buying that, now it's time to put up or shut up Tatsumi!" Sonic demanded, before clenching his fists as he got into a stance. Tatsumi had no choice... He slammed his blade on the ground. "INNNCURRRRSSSSIIIIOOOOOOOO!!!!" He cried out, granting the power and strength he needed, having Incursio activated.

(Cue ~ Never Let Up! - Mario & Luigi Dream Team)
"GOTTA GO FAST!" Sonic demanded, running around in a circled position. "He's too fast..." Tatsumi said to himself, trying to lock into a position to attack the hedgehog. The Night Raid assassin launched himself towards the hedgehog, bringing him down to the ground. Going across the road, Tatsumi relentlessly attacked Sonic with punches he could use. Sonic pulled himself back, before curling up into a ball and charging forward Tatsumi. "Woah... Hang in there!" Tatsumi said, jumping back to avoid harm as he planted his knee in front of Sonic's face, striking him several times using his knees. Looking for an opportunity to attack Sonic, the Night Raid assassin turned to see the hedgehog in the back. "No... wait.. HOW DID HE GET BEHIND ME SO FAST?" Tatsumi asked himself, looking for answers. "I can't lie... His speed reminds me of Akame's..." The Night Raid assassin remarked, before scoring with an elbow strike he could land on Sonic's face. The hedgehog responded by kicking Tatsumi into a car, then pulling him up and throwing him into a wall, the assassin screamed for a minute. "Sorry!" Sonic added, before landing a hard punch on Tatsumi's chest, the armor was protecting him. "NOT SO FAST!" Tatsumi growled, grabbing the hedgehog by his leg and hurling him into the air with an uppercut.
Traveling through the air, Sonic descended on top of a building and made a safe landing. "Phew.." Sonic sighed, sitting down to rest. From behind, Tatsumi approached for the Blue Blur and charged up a punch that blew Sonic back to an airduct. The hedgehog charged up a Spin Dash and with his great speed, he moved towards Tatsumi, making an attempt to pierce through Incursio's armor. The armor still remained to protect Tatsumi with all its effort, the Night Raid assassin pulled Sonic on top of his hands, throwing him off the building. "Bye bye hedgehog." Tatsumi shouted, watching Sonic fall several feet down and he then landed back into the streets. Slowly, Tatsumi came back down and continued his brawl with the hedgehog.. Several blows were traded off by Tatsumi and Sonic. CLASH, PUNCH, SLAM....... Tatsumi fired several of his own punches, as he punched Sonic in the nose. The hedgehog started running down the street, leaving Tatsumi to run after him. "Can you please stop being SO fast for once?!" Tatsumi asked, trying to catch up to the Blue Blur. "Not even a chance kid!" Sonic replied, sticking his tongue out while taunting Tatsumi. Moving to the right side, Sonic threw Tatsumi into a glass window as he was sent flying into a building, and Sonic followed suit. "I'm coming!"
While needing something to battle with, Tatsumi drew out his spear. When Sonic entered the building, he grabbed a chair and hurled it towards Tatsumi, forcing him to slash it with his spear. "You have your own weapon? It's about time for you to fight like a real man!" Sonic remarked, grabbing a desk from behind and throwing it in front of Tatsumi, knocking him down on the ground. "I have an idea." Tatsumi reminded himself, temporarily turning invisible. When he disappeared, Sonic was holding a chair ready to smash it on the Night Raid assassin... But where did Tatsumi run off to? "Wait a minute, where did he go..? I swear I saw him here a few minutes ago with my own two eyes!" Sonic said, trying to sense where Tatsumi went. The member of Night Raid started doing things like punching and kicking Sonic multiple times, the hedgehog didn't know what was coming at him. "H-Hey... GHOST STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING.." Sonic pleaded, and skidded back. A spear appeared behind Sonic, as it struck him in the back of his head and Sonic rubbed his head. "What was that.. No... That spear is Tatsumi's... Is he a ghost or something?" Sonic wondered, and Tatsumi reappeared as he caught the hedgehog off guard, bringing him back outside into the city's plaza.

"You were just acting as a ghost because you're scared of me." Sonic remarked. "Nah, there's nothing I was scared of." Tatsumi responded, he then skidded at the hedgehog with a knee strike, but Sonic sidestepped to the sidewalk. "Wow.... You dodged my kick." Tatsumi spoke. "Keep fighting me Tatsumi!" Sonic yelled out, engaging into a fistfight with the Night Raid assassin.
(Cue ~ Villainous Boss Battle Theme - Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2)
Tatsumi and Sonic traded several haymakers, then collided punches. Sonic charged up another Spin Dash, this time Tatsumi countered by swatting his spear at the Blue Blur, stopping him from using his attack. "You're too slow!" Sonic taunted, before running into a road on the nearest highway. With several cars moving, Sonic avoided them by running side-to-side and Tatsumi stood on the edge of the highway's platform. "That's a whole lot of cars, I am pretty sure this is dangerous." Tatsumi stated, he dropped down on the highway's road and jumped over several cars in order to avoid harm. Around the highway, Sonic from behind hit Tatsumi with several Homing Attacks, knocking him down on the road. While cars drove in, Sonic concluded that some cars would run over Tatsumi. "I hope you get crushed by those cars, Incursio guy!" Sonic yelled out. "OH NO I WON'T HEDGEHOG!" Tatsumi emitted a loud roar, he then picked himself up and tackled the hedgehog down, the two flew off the highway and landed in a nearby park. In the park, Tatsumi hid behind a tree and waited for the hedgehog to approach. "Come on out, Tatsumi!" Sonic said, and the Night Raid assassin came out of nowhere.
The Night Raid assassin grabbed Sonic and hurled him into a nearby tree. Sonic attempted a punch, but Tatsumi simply gripped his spear and stabbed Sonic on the chest, sending him flying back a few feet. Tatsumi became invisible again and disappeared, leaving Sonic confused. "Where did he disappear off to again?" Sonic asked himself, trying to see where the Night Raid member went off to. The wielder of Incursio started striking the hedgehog several times in the back, before grabbing Sonic and throwing him into a nearby bench, the Blue Blur had trouble trying to find Tatsumi. "Come out WHEREVER YOU ARE!" He insisted, attempting to force Tatsumi to reveal himself, and the Night Raid assassin bashed Sonic several times with his elbow. Being the one that's invisible, Tatsumi tricked Sonic by forcing him to lock into a space to stare at his spear. "That one spear... hates me." Sonic quietly mumbled, and Tatsumi's invisibility wore off as he reappeared. The member of Night Raid landed several blows on Sonic, blowing him back into the streets.
Sonic ran towards the beach as Tatsumi followed. "I would like to go swimming, but I don't have my swim suit." Tatsumi remarked, running on the sand and something had given him an idea. "Wait a minute, hedgehogs can't swim so that means I can throw Sonic into the water!" He said, and caught the hedgehog as he hurled him into the water. Since Sonic can't swim, he tried to get out of the water and Tatsumi allowed the hedgehog to drown in the water. "I'm not coming over to save you Sonic." Tatsumi said aloud, watching the Blue Blur drown in the water. Sonic managed to get out of the water and he pelted Tatsumi with a Homing Attack. As Tatsumi fell to the ground, Sonic grabbed a pile of sand and threw it towards Incursio's helmet. "If you're trying to throw sand into my eyes that won't work because I have a helmet." Tatsumi said, instead the Night Raid assassin collected a pile of sand and threw all of it directly into Sonic's eyes, forcing him to try to shake the sand out. "H-Hey... I can't see! SOMEONE HELP!" Sonic yelled out, as he rubbed his eyes to get the sand out.
While nobody was there to help, Tatsumi scored with a barrage of kicks and Sonic managed to get all of the sand out of his eyes. The hedgehog looked around, and grabbed Tatsumi, dragging him to the nearest shipping docks on the beach. On their way to the docks, Tatsumi pulled himself up and stood for a moment, looking at the hedgehog. "Uh oh, guess what..." Tatsumi said. "What?" Sonic asked. "There's water below us, I can just throw you in and then bye bye." He replied, attempting to tackle the hedgehog but Sonic dashed back a little bit as he avoided Tatsumi. "I have an idea." Sonic said to himself, he grabbed Tatsumi by the hand and threw him down into the water below. "That's what you get for tossing me into the water first, JERK!" Sonic yelled. "Hah, luckily I can swim, unlike you." Tatsumi responded, and swam towards the shore of the beach. The waves quickly lifted the Night Raid assassin up, and he then washed up to the shore. Tatsumi dusted himself off for a moment and skidded towards Sonic, raining down a barrage of punches on the hedgehog, before spinning him in the air and throwing him towards a tree.
Sonic leapt off the tree and Tatsumi stared for a minute. "Come on Tatsumi, do you admit defeat?" Sonic asked. "No way!" Tatsumi replied, the two left the beach and went back into the city, as Tatsumi and Sonic traded blow-for-blow... Sonic executed a Spin Dash to blow the Night Raid assassin into a building, destroying the wall completely.
Tatsumi pulled himself up, with no wounds or damage done to him.

Sonic pummeled Tatsumi a light post, and launched him into a nearby truck. "Owww..." Tatsumi screamed in pain, slipping off the wall of the truck and the Night Raid assassin looked at the hedgehog for a minute or two. "Didn't you forget that you're fast?" Tatsumi asked. "Of course I'm fast and you're TOO slow!" Sonic replied, before dashing across the street. Entering the city's busy streets, Tatsumi followed suit as he ran through a crowd of people. "Sorry... My bad folks I have to keep running!" He demanded. "WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING IDIOT WITH THE SHINING ARMOR!" The people yelled. "No time, sorry!" The Night Raid assassin said aloud, and caught up to Sonic. The Night Raid member then tackled Sonic down on the sidewalk, dragging him along the way and tossing him across the block and Tatsumi slammed his spear on the ground, giving Sonic a stop. "Stop right there blue hedgehog!" Tatsumi demanded, clenching his fists and dropping two punches on Sonic's forehead. "I'm gonna have to try a little better and upgrade!" Sonic promised. "..what...?" Tatsumi looked over.... being confused.
Sonic summoned the Chaos Emeralds, tapping into his Super Form. "SUPER SONIC STYLE!" The hedgehog demanded, glowing with gold aura and Tatsumi stared with amazement. "W-WOW... THAT'S SUPER COOL!" Tatsumi said out loud, being impressed by Sonic's Super Form. Before the Night Raid assassin could attack.. Super Sonic pulled out a Chaos Emerald. "Chaos... CONTROL!" Super Sonic declared, stopping time and freezing Tatsumi in place. "Why can't I move?" Tatsumi asked. "Because I used Chaos Control to stop time." Sonic replied, and attacked Tatsumi with multiple Homing Attacks and Super Sonic grabbed the assassin by his hand, taking flight into the air along with him. "Why are we up here?" Tatsumi asked... would he get the answer? "BECAUSE TATSUMI, I'M GOING TO DROP YOU!" Super Sonic declared. "Enjoy your fall." He said, letting go of the assassin from Night Raid. Looking for a safe place to land, Tatsumi descended down into a nearby lake as his splash created several surfing waves. "Thank god..." He said in a disbelief, swimming out of the lake and Sonic, who was in his Super Form charged up a powerful Spin Dash and rammed into Tatsumi, striking him in the ribs several times.
"AGGHH-- HE'S JUST TOO FAST FOR ME TO HANDLE!" Tatsumi snarled, using his arms to force Super Sonic from moving more. The hedgehog dropped to the spot and stood there, forcing Tatsumi to throw multiple punches and Super Sonic leaped out of the way, and Tatsumi then took a Homing Attack to the chest, getting blown back into a fence.
CLANG!
The fence broke apart, leaving multiple broken pieces shattered on the floor. Tatsumi gripped his spear and attempted many times to strike Super Sonic, but the hedgehog flew out of the way and dodged every single incoming strike from the spear - leaving Tatsumi frustrated. "Get back down here and fight like a real man instead of being in some golden form!" Tatsumi insisted, jumping into the air and lunging at Super Sonic with a kick, but the Blue Blur countered by catching Tatsumi by the leg, throwing him down into a tree. The tree itself flung Tatsumi into the air, sending him flying for ages in the sky. The Night Raid assassin grabbed his spear and launched himself down, striking Super Sonic in the head this time. "THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, SONIC!" Tatsumi yelled, he then charged up an attack from his spear and struck the hedgehog down, dropping Super Sonic on the spot.
(Music cut)
Super Sonic punched Tatsumi back into the city, creating a massive explosion as his Super Form expired. "Oh no, I don't have anymore rings..." Sonic reminded himself, and into the city... Tatsumi lay down near a building in pain. "N-No..... I can't give up easily..." Tatsumi remarked, and Sonic then ran over. "Since you have your own armor, I might have to transform as well Tatsumi." The hedgehog stated, drawing Excalibur to his hands. "This may do the trick." Sonic demanded, immediately transforming into Excalibur Sonic. He was in shining and golden armor... Tatsumi picked himself up and looked towards the hedgehog with a knight's golden armor.
"...feels like he's gotten stronger."
Tatsumi came out of Incursio, panting heavily in pain.
(Cue ~ Friend's Feelings - Akame ga Kill!)
"You're gonna be defeated here." Excalibur Sonic promised, pointing his blade towards Tatsumi's throat. "Look... I promised I would make it back alive for everyone and get the mission done.... I won't sit here and do nothing to make me look like a coward!" Tatsumi said.
"I fight for my friends, family, and my comrades to protect them... I'm not gonna let some hedgehog beat me down!" The Night Raid assassin stated. "I won't allow you to do anything else, Sonic!" Tatsumi added. "DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME!" He yelled out. "You can give up now." Sonic stated.
Bulat appeared in Tatsumi's head as he remembered him. "There will always be hardships and misery Tatsumi... In fact that's all we get..." Bulat remarked. "But... This is the path we chose for ourselves!"
"Bro...."
"You should feel fortunate to do what no one else will...It's how the world has changed...And then we simply disappear..."
"BRO!"
"COME ON AND SCREAM, WITH ALL THE FIREEEEEEEE IN YOUR SOUUULLLLLLL!" Bulat declared, giving Tatsumi a confident warm up after talking in his mind.
Tatsumi opened his eyes and pulled himself up, grabbing his blade. "INCURRRRRRSSSSSIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" He screamed with a burning spirit, and Incursio's dragon appeared behind Tatsumi, as a red flashing light emitted from the ground and the dragon above him. "What's this?" Sonic asked, looking over at Tatsumi changing. When the smoke subsided, Incursio's armor evolved with a golden radiance and wings and Tatsumi took on an appearance with gold armor. "H-HE'S EVELVOED!" Excalibur Sonic yelled out. "That's right!" Tatsumi replied as he had his new found confidence.
Tatsumi flew into the air with his golden wings, and Excalibur Sonic followed. The hedgehog wielded his blade and went to punish the Night Raid assassin, but Tatsumi simply dodged and soared around the air, forcing Sonic to follow. "I see you have gold armor like mine." Excalibur Sonic spoke, and charged his blade towards Tatsumi, looking for a stab he could try and land on his chest. "You won't be so fast anymore!" The master of Incursio insisted, striking Excalibur Sonic with everything he could use. The hedgehog delivered a devastating blow, sending the member of Night Raid crashing into multiple buildings. When Tatsumi came out of the building, the two teenagers wearing golden armor clashed spear and blade. "I understand that I cannot underestimate you Tatsumi." Excalibur Sonic admitted. "Wow... I can't believe you actually admitted it... AND YOU NOW I WILL STILL BEAT YOU WITH ALL THE POWER I HAVE!" Tatsumi declared, striking the hedgehog with his spear multiple times and Sonic then used a Homing Attack to send Incursio's wielder flying back across the air. "You won't even have a chance....Sonic." Tatsumi said aloud, and the Blue Blur went in for another Homing Attack, this time Tatsumi countered by catching the hedgehog and throwing him down into a nearby car, creating a MASSIVE explosion. Excalibur Sonic pulled himself up and used a Spin Dash to strike Tatsumi in the ribs, but the golden armor was protecting him from any incoming damage. "Nothing is working..." Sonic said quietly...
"I have to stay alive for everyone.... Please forgive me if I die out here Mine.." Tatsumi said, he had to keep pushing through everything he could do... WHETHER OR NOT! Tatsumi started picturing the moments and times with Night Raid, and they all had hope for him to return home safely. "All of those moments.... I will keep them with me!" He promised, and forced himself to keep fighting and not give up. Excalibur Sonic rammed into Tatsumi's chest with a Spin Dash, attempting to break the armor's torso but Tatsumi slammed Sonic down on the ground with his own body slam. Bringing Sonic down to the ground, Tatsumi battered him face first on the floor multiple times and Excalibur Sonic grabbed his blade, slashing Tatsumi on his chest. A small cut of blood appeared on the assassin's chest, but Tatsumi kept on fighting and punched Sonic across the alley, sending him flying across the block. The hedgehog crashed into multiple cars, causing the vehicles to explode as multiple explosions appeared, with smoke appearing in the scene. "Oh no!" Sonic exclaimed, seeing the damaged cars and he then ran towards the Night Raid assassin with an elbow strike, knocking Tatsumi down and Sonic then hurled him into a light post. While Tatsumi still glowing with golden armor, he threw several strikes with his spear down on the hedgehog. Excalibur Sonic blocked with his blade, holding back Tatsumi from using anything he had.
"S-Stop holding me back!" Tatsumi begged, and he managed to strike the hedgehog in the chest with his spear. He then kicked Excalibur Sonic away, launching him into a nearby tree. Sonic used several Homing Attacks on Tatsumi, who blocked with his fists by raising them up and the Night Raid assassin battered Sonic on the ground, slamming him face-first on the concrete. Excalibur Sonic panted heavily, before skidding back and jumping towards Tatsumi with a flying kick, bringing him down on the ground. The Night Raid assassin got back up and traded more blows with Sonic fiercely, both green eyed teenagers kicked each other off, and the two got blown away separately.
(Cue ~ Incursio - Akame ga Kill!)
"WE'RE STILL NOT DONE HERE SONIC!" Tatsumi growled, flying towards the hedgehog with a speeding kick, this time kicking Excalibur Sonic into a tree. The hedgehog slipped from the tree, and charged up a Spin Dash as Tatsumi dodged by jumping up into the air, and he then lunged down with a kick. When Tatsumi landed, Sonic was underneath his leg. "Hehe, sorry!" Sonic said, before grabbing Tatsumi's leg and throwing him away, followed by a Homing Attack to keep sending him flying away. Tatsumi avoided harm, and pushed himself toward the hedgehog with multiple punches and kicks as Sonic tried jumping back, but Tatsumi stopped him by throwing his spear. Tatsumi and Sonic collided blades and kept trading off more and more blows, Excalibur Sonic jumped into the air and zoomed down with his own kick, leaving Tatsumi to grab his leg and throw Sonic into a wall. Slowly, Sonic's armor started to slowly shatter to a few small pieces, then Tatsumi threw every single punch he could land on Sonic, this time landing a punch that destroyed his helmet from the armor - revealing Sonic's face. The Blue Blur tackled Tatsumi on the ground, before pelting him with multiple Homing Attacks and Sonic then picked his sword up. Tatsumi backed up a little bit.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH----" Tatsumi screamed as he charged up a punch that completely destroyed the hedgehog's armor. "No... NO NOT MY ARMOR!" Sonic yelled and screamed, he then went in for a Spin Dash and Tatsumi dodged by sidestepping to the other side. "You're not so fast now, Sonic!" The Night Raid assassin said aloud, and threw down a descending elbow strike on Sonic's face, blowing him back into a building. When Sonic charged up his speed, Tatsumi grabbed the hedgehog from behind and slammed him down on the ground hard. "I was hoping I wouldn't die out here." Tatsumi exclaimed and delivered a haymaker to Sonic's face, sending him crashing into a glass window. Sonic was still alive and ran towards the Night Raider with increasing speed, this time Tatsumi held his spear and once the hedgehog approached - Tatsumi cleaved his spear through Sonic's chest, killing the hedgehog instantly.
(Music stops)
Tatsumi came out of Incursio as Sonic's corpse fell to the ground, lifeless and bloodied. "I survived... Everyone..! I'm glad I met all of my comrades in my life and actually glad that I survived also!" Tatsumi cheered for himself, after a fierce brawl he quickly escaped from the city. Later, the local police department discovered Sonic's dead body on the streets.
Tatsumi smiled towards the camera and waved goodbye, dashing away from the scene.
