Pre-Fight[]
“This is the place. Kind of a dump, huh.” Toji Zenin walks calmly across the crashed landscape of the Airship.
“What the hell…?” The leader of the infamous Toppat Clan says as he crawls out of the rubble. He looks up at Toji, his vision blurry from his injuries as he holds his bleeding head in pain.
Toji grins and looks at the man in the dapper top hat. “So you’re Reginald Copperbottom. Lotta people want you dead, you know that?”
“Yeah, and a lotta people have failed to kill me. Right Hand Man!” Reginald yells… Only to get no response or aid, “R-Right Hand Man….?”
Toji chuckles. “No help from your right hand man? That’s rough.”
“N-No… This… No this can't be happening to mee-heee-hee!”
Toji suddenly rushes forward and smacks Copperbottom so hard that his neck actually snaps. “Easy money.” He puts his hands in his pockets and begins to walk away from the crime scene.
As Toji kills Copperbottom, various other Toppat Clan survivors start to crawl out of the wreckage. “Ohhh my heaadd…” A member says, holding his bruised head in pain.
Toji ignores the survivors and keeps walking. Only when a sudden burst of energy erupts out the rubble does he stop dead in his tracks, and turn to see what caused this change in energy.
From the rubble emerges a cybernetic Toppat Clan member, the Right Hand Man. He looks at Copperbottom’s headless body then at Toji, and his one organic eye narrows. “How dare you!” He yells, placing his hand up to his cybernetic eye and turning the frame slightly, causing it to glow bright red.
Right at the peak of the energy output, right as Toji can sense the attack firing, a gunshot rings out, and all goes silent. The Right Hand Man lets out a scream as he stumbles forward, causing the laser to strike the ground (And incinerate a poor Toppat Clan member), missing Toji completely.
The cyborg holds his head and collapses, barely holding onto any semblance of life. He looks back in pain at his attacker, and sees… A very disappointing sight. A red 3’6 tall bean-shaped creature is looking down at him, holding a smoking desert-eagle pistol.
The R.H.M. eye widens in shock and embarrassment, then narrows as he looks back at Toji. “T-This ship’s… Wealth is all yours… If you kill that…. Thing…”
“But Reginald said I would inherit it if he went do-”
“Shut it Sledge,” R.H.M. says coldly, before the light on his cybernetic eye dims as he goes limp.
Disappointed Sledge MacRush sound.
Toji grins. “Now you’re speaking my language.” He starts to walk towards the bean. “How hard can it be to kill a shortstack like you?”
The beanish killer changes (or seems to, Toji can't really tell) its gaze from the Right Hand Man to Toji. It stands there, seemingly just staring at the much-taller Toji.
Toji slowly starts walking towards the bean. “This might just be easier money.”
The Impostor takes a step back as it hides its pistol in its back, unsure of how to handle this much taller threat.
Toji suddenly appears behind the Imposter and rips its pack off. “Interesting little fanny pack you’ve got here, mind if I take a look?”
It just gets picked off the ground and does not get the pack ripped off. Its visor ‘blinks’ blankly as it looks at Toji, confused at what he thought was gonna happen.
Toji frowns. “What the hell?” He lifts the imposter so that they see eye to visor. He drops and punts it into the air.
The Impostor tumbles through the air, landing and sliding across the ground, comically getting stopped by the base of a tree. It picks itself up and jumps around to face Toji, its visor narrowing to replicate a furrowed brow.
‘Hmmm…That should have killed him or at least crippled him…’ Toji says inwardly.
The Impostor takes a step forward, indicating that they're ready to fight.
Fight[]
Toji grabs a giant slab of wall from the airship and tosses it with ease at the Imposter.
The Impostor’s visor widens and it leaps to the side, rolling out of the way. It starts to flail around, running around in a blind panic, completely different to the cold killer Toji saw it portray itself as earlier.
Toji grabs a much larger piece of wall and throws it towards the imposter, this time it’s like a wall is charging him.
The Impostor tries its best to get out of the way, but gets obviously struck and crashes against the ground.
Toji once again charges the Imposter and attempts to pound its visor in.
The Impostor jumps out of the way, its hands waving frantically as it starts to run around in a panic once more.
Toji plants a mean roundhouse kick into the side of its head and launches it into the tree, splintering it.
The Impostor gets smacked with the kick and is sent tumbling across the ground. It manages to land on its feet and skirts back a few inches, and its expression goes from panic to determination. Reaching behind it pulls out a dagger and spins it around, a red glint in its visor as it lunges at Toji in an attempt to stab him.
Toji grabs the blade with two fingers, and twists it in half. He headbutts the Imposter and then lands another roundhouse kick.
The Impostor looks down at its destroyed knife and tosses it to the side. It pulls out its gun and turns to face Toji, firing multiple rounds at his head.
Toji sidesteps the shots, then appears in front of Imposter, and grabs the gun. He tosses it away.
Impostor just goes with it, tumbling across the ground and landing on its feet. It looks up and narrows its visor, before firing again.
Toji tilts his head to the side and lets the bullet fly past. He grins, and then charges and uppercuts the Imposter in the visor.
The Impostor catches his fist and fires directly into his stomach, giving Toji no time or room to dodge these bullets.
Toji grits his teeth and knees the Imposter, and then kicks him across the area. He chuckles and fixes his shirt, the bullets falling out of it. ‘Those were just normal bullets. If that’s the best he can do, this should be easy.’
The Impostor tumbles, now facing away from Toji. It lets out a shriek as, from Toji’s perspective, its front side seems to violently burst open. It turns around, with a now revealed sinister grin holding a long sharp tongue, and aims its gun at Toji once more and fires.
Toji sidesteps the shots again and charges the Imposter, but stops just short of him. “Well aren’t you creepy…” He rips the gun from its hands and tosses it far away.
The Impostor fires point-blank, and while the bullet likely doesn't pierce Toji’s hand, the sheer impact and force from being shot at that close range is enough to make him loosen his grip just enough to let the Impostor jump away, still clutching its gun with a smug grin.
Toji shakes his hand off. “Little bastard.” He shoulder bashes the Imposter, launching him like a football at a field goal.
The Impostor soars through the air, still not dropping its smug expression as it goes. Putting its gun away, it switches it out for a strange remote with a single red button and presses. To Toji’s utter shock, the Impostor suddenly vanishes from view.
‘He can disappear? Little bastard’s more trouble than I thought.’ Toji decides that this requires all of his effort.
Interrupting Toji’s inner monologue, Impostor appears behind and above him with a hand outstretched. The hand lands on Toji’s head as Impostor falls, bashing his head into a sharp rock as it lands next to him.
The rock breaks.
Audible gulp.
Toji turns and smacks the Imposter, grabs it by the (where it’s ears would be), and knees it repeatedly before tossing it aside like a smoked cigarette.
The Impostor tumbles and picks itself up, holding its now-cracked visor. It looks up at Toji and pulls out three ninja stars, hurling them at Toji at incredible speed.
Toji grabs two of them, and bites the other, then tosses them to the side. He charges the Imposter again, this time drop kicking it in the face (IN THE FACE).
The Impostor furrows its… Visor as it pulls out a blue pointy hat with yellow stars on it, and puts it on. Blue energy surrounds its hands as it dodges the dropkick and fires blue lightning into Toji’s side.
Toji lands on his feet crouching and skirts a few dozen feet before coming to a complete stop. He grabs a giant piece of rock and hurls it at the Imposter. While the Imposter is busy dealing with the rock, Toji spits up a disgusting purple ball made of flesh type situation. The ball stretches, wriggles, and transforms into a nasty worm, wrapping itself around Toji. “This might just be interesting…” The worm spits up a handle, and Toji takes the handle out of its mouth, revealing a spearhead blade. He also pulls out a long chain and attaches it.
The Impostor teleports once more, appearing a few meters away and shooting out some more lightning.
Toji throws the Inverted Spear of Heaven, which dispels the lightning upon contact, and it impales the wizard hat.
The Impostor narrows its visor as the wizard hat flies off its head. It smirks and teleports away. Appearing in the destroyed Airship ruins, it immediately and coldly shoots Sledge through the head (Poor fella) for pretty much no reason other than to get some frustration out. Digging into the rubble, it constantly looks behind its back to make sure Toji isn't too close as it desperately searches for something.
Toji, in fact, is not too close, considering how slowly he is approaching the Imposter.
Impostor is physically sweating now as it desperately searches for something.
Toji appears behind them and picks them up by the head. “Looking for something?” He grins with malicious intent.
The Impostor grins as it uses the fact its hands are disembodied to its advantage, allowing it to finally grab what it was looking for and pulls out a… Banana.
Toji begins to squeeze his head, attempting to crush it.
It explodes, sending both of them flying in opposite directions.
Toji lands on his feet, struggling to maintain balance after such a sudden impact.
The Impostor, without warning, appears behind him and throws another banana bomb into his shirt then vanishes again, leaving Toji to forcefully tank the explosion again, but this time inside of his shirt.
Toji lands on his face, and gets to his feet, scowling. As his shirt falls to the ground, burnt, he picks up the spear of heaven and pulls more chain from the nasty worm.
The Impostor grins as Toji’s vision is still blocked by the dust and smoke, and it decides to take advantage. By the time Toji is able to see again, he is just… Surrounded by a ring of bananas that all go off at once, sending him flying high into the air.
Using the teleporter, the Impostor appears above him and presses the bad-end of its gun against Toji’s forehead and fires.
Toji recovers somewhat quickly from the gunshot and creates a sphere of slices around him, forcing the Imposter away from him. He returns the spear of heaven to the worm and pulls out Playful Cloud. He charges imposter, smacking him in the face with one of the bars and launching him roughly sixty meters away.
The Impostor tumbles through the air, and due to how high they are from the ground, the bean gets a good bird’s-eye view of the area. As it tumbles throughout the air, it spots a particular ship a few kilometers away. It grins and looks back at Toji, only to see his fist. The Impostor lets out a surprised squeal before being punched to the ground, sliding and digging through the grass for about 8 feet.
Toji shoves Playful Cloud back inside of his cursed spirit, and pulls out a giant blade. Toji runs towards Imposter and kicks them far away, chuckling to himself.
The Impostor grins as it tumbles through the air, landing on the opposite side of the hill and vanishing from Toji’s view.
“That won’t work, you know.” Toji says, as he jumps the hill and lands at the top.
The Impostor is now gone.
Toji raises his eyebrows. “”Huh. Guess that will work.” He tries to track Imposter from any trace that he can, but finds nothing.
Suddenly, a small ship in the distance rises into the air. The Dropship then flies at Toji at ludicrous speed.
“Shit.” Toji quickly swaps his blade for the Spear of Heaven, attached to a chain, and leaps towards the Dropship, slicing his way through the armored walls.
The Dropship slams into him, interrupting his slice before it can even begin and taking him all the way into the upper atmosphere. The Impostor laughs and opens the Dropship door, causing Toji to crash into the back of the inside. The bean grins and shoots Toji once in each limb, using the increased G-Forces to actually break through Toji’s skin this time around.
Using one of its disembodied hands the Impostor pulls a lever on the Dropship, causing it to make a 180° turn, flying back down towards the planet. Toji is launched upward from the momentum, only to fly right into the back of the Dropship as it plummets to the ground. The Impostor grins and watches closely as it heads towards a nearby city, crashing through multiple buildings before teleporting away right before the Dropship lands and explodes.
Toji snaps open his eyes as the smoke clears. “What a pain in the ass…” He gets up slowly, feeling the injuries of the attack. Nothing too severe…nothing that’ll handicap me at least… He reaches up and pulls out the Split Soul Katana.
The Impostor watches from a distance, spinning its gun around as it waits patiently for Toji to notice it. What started out as a frustrating confrontation with this random guy has become one of the most fun experiences of this alien’s repetitive life.
“Where’d the little fucker go?” He chuckles. Doubt it’s dead. I heard that little beep and this little lugnut can teleport. That being said, there’s too much blood and shit in the air to smell him. What a shitty day… Toji sighs. “If you’re going to show up, why don’t you just do it now? I have better things to do.”
The Impostor grins and teleports, making sure to appear a good enough distance from Toji so he can't hear the sound. A puff of smoke surrounds the bean and it vanishes from view a moment later, with Toji being none the wiser that it's even there. The Impostor makes its way over to Toji, revealing itself behind him and grinning as small tentacles spread out from its body. It wraps itself around Toji suddenly and without warning, slamming him through the debris of the Dropship and various buildings before launching him high into the air, where it pulls out its gun to fire once more, using the semi-weakened state Toji was left in from the crash to at least deal a bit more damage than previously.
Toji manages to block the bullet with the blade, and makes a landing without any injuries.
The Impostor “frowns” as the bullet gets blocked, and it teleports closer. Rather than behind Toji, like he’d expect by now, the bean appears in front and shoots point-blank, causing Toji’s head to snap back, then teleports away to avoid a counterattack.
Toji grits his teeth. This little shits doing hit and runs! I have to get to him first before I can do anything els-
The Impostor interrupts that thought by teleporting to the side and shooting once more, hitting him in the shoulder blade before quickly warping to above and shooting again
Toji tanks the shoulder blade and slices upward on instinct alone after hearing the hammer get pulled back.
The Impostor audibly gulps and warps back to the ground, coming up with a new game plan.
Toji rolls on the ground, and gets up. He’s too goddamn offensive. I have to put him on defense. Considering how he’s been preserving himself, I’d say he’s not nearly as durable as he is strong. On the bright side, this damned hiatus on my senses should clear soon. Toji picks up a somewhat clear scent throughout the chaos, sweat. He grins and silently but swiftly approaches this scent until he can see the Imposter. When he gets within sight he leaps behind cover and waits for any sign of movement.
The Impostor looks around the chaotic city, and hears the sound of approaching police sirens. Brandishing its gun it runs into one of the nearby mostly undamaged buildings, shooting pedestrians as it goes.
Toji leaps from behind cover the second he hears Imposter moving and slashes at him relentlessly with the Split Soul Katana, first aiming for his gun.
The Impostor’s visor widens in shock and fear as Toji leaps out, and it jumps out of the way, narrowly avoiding losing its favorite murder weapon. It continues to jump back as Toji keeps slashing, slipping its gun into its back and pulling out the teleporter to warp back a bit, gaining enough distance to fucking breathe.
Watching the Imposter’s stance change, Toji re-sheathes his blade and pulls out Playful Cloud, which switches up the fighting style and catches Imposter ridiculously off guard and smacks him into the side of the face, launching him through a building. Toji chases to keep up.
The Impostor crashes through what remains of the apartment building, getting lucky by flipping onto its feet just in time to narrowly duck Toji, catching him by surprise and letting the momentum of Toji’s charge and attack knock him off balance for a second. Using Toji’s stumble as a quick break, the Impostor immediately books it back through the building, praying that it can reach its teleporter before Toji can reach them.
Suddenly, all around Imposter disgusting fly-like creatures appear, jumbling everything on the ground and mixing the teleporter among rubble. It also obscures its vision and gets rid of all sense of direction.
The Impostor would let out a scream if it could, but it spots the teleporter among the rubble and returns to its determined and concentrated state. It stares intently at the cloud of flies, and for only a split moment it can see the teleporter. It grins as its body starts to vibrate, as it looks around once more.
After a moment, the Impostor top half suddenly flies into the air, its body stretching to obscene proportions as it flies out from the top, makes a loop back towards the Fly-Heads, and grabs the teleporter as it charges at Toji, slamming into him from behind with enough force to almost rip the guy in half. The Impostor then rubber bands back together, escaping the Fly-Heads and regaining its teleporter in one swift motion.
Toji skids across the ground and grabs the Spear of Heaven, pulling it from the cursed spirit. He tosses it and wraps the chain around Imposter, sealing its empty hand against its body.
The Impostor looks down, confused as to why it can feel its own hand all of a sudden.
Toji charges the Imposter, pulling a gun from the cursed spirit and shoves it against the Imposter’s head, firing repeatedly.
The Impostor’s visor widens and its mouth opens, shooting its tongue out to stab through the bullet. However it did not expect more bullets, so its tongue starts to make a bullet-kabab. It drops the teleporter and uses its available hand to grab Toji’s gun, crushing it to stop the shooting. The bullets fall to the ground as The Impostor’s tongue retracts, then slams its fist down onto the teleporter’s button desperately, warping out of danger and finally being able to not feel its hand anymore.
Toji retracts the Spear of Heaven into the cursed spirit and runs over and grabs the Split Soul Katana.
The Impostor intercepts at the last moment, grabbing the Split Soul Katana and ripping it out of the ground before Toji can grab it. The Impostor stumbles for a moment, before regaining its balance and turning to face Toji with a smug-ass grin.
Toji immediately reaches into the cursed spirit and pulls out the Spear of Heaven. “Sorry little guy, I don’t like to share.”
As Toji does that, Impostor swings the sword forward clumsily, and Toji just so happens to land in the path.
Toji leaps to the side, and tosses the Spear at Imposter while the bean stumbles.
The sword strikes the ground, causing the Impostor to seesaw into the air and indirectly dodge the spear. The moment the Impostor realizes it no longer has the katana it teleports to a safe distance to think of what to do next.
Toji retracts the Spear, puts it back inside his cursed spirit, and picks up the katana. Suddenly, all of the flyheads surround Toji as he tries to think of some kind of plan.
The Impostor teleports into the air, switching the teleporter for its gun and grinning metaphorical-ear-to-metaphorical-ear.
Toji leaps and slashes at the Imposter, the flyheads follow and surround them in a nasty ball of fly and head.
The Impostor pulls the trigger as Toji leaps, and a small flicker of red light emits from the end of the pistol. Then a massive laser erupts from the barrel of the gun to evaporate Toji…. If he didn't manage to slice the gun in half at the very last second. The Impostor, understandably shocked, watches as the laser-firing gun tumbles through the air, ripping the city below to shreds and destroying almost anything in a 10-mile radius.
Gulp
The Impostor, upon seeing the destruction it caused, couldn’t care less, and instead opts to teleport out of the way before Toji can cut it in half. It appears above Toji with a red glint in its visor as it reaches behind it and pulls out a large pencil. It does a slashing motion, creating a hand drawn sword from the tip of the pencil and slicing horizontally, clashing with the Split Soul Katana.
Toji continues the clash one handed, and pulls a normal knife out of the cursed spirit. He attempts to stab the Imposter in the side of the head with it while also attempting to win the blade clash.
The Impostor, seeing this out of the corner of its visor, performs a quick-spin slash to throw Toji off guard slightly, allowing it to make a quick move by grabbing and prying the knife out of his hands. The bean throws the knife to the side, letting it fall to the ground as it continues the sword clash.
Toji’s momentum dies and he falls to the ground, but leaps again the second he hits the ground, shattering the earth below them and hitting the Imposter with considerably more force than before, breaking its guard.
The Impostor blocks the slash, but gets caught off guard and loses the would-be clash. The sword is sent flying out of its hand, but it quickly recovers and stretches its disembodied hand to grab the hilt once more and quickly slice upwards in a surprise-retaliation, knocking the Katana out of Toji’s hand.
Toji turns to go grab the Katana, outstretching his hand to try and grasp the hilt before it falls out of reach. The Impostor dives after him, opening its mouth to grab Toji and wrap around his waist and legs to pull him back, but Toji manages to grab the sword. Impostor pulls Toji towards itself with the intent of snapping the hitman in half in one clean and violent bite, and Toji reels his arm back to prepare a final slash.
The two collide, the Impostor bites down violently and Toji slashes horizontally. Blood spurts out around the two airborne fighters. A second later the Impostor’s visor cracks, and its body cuts into two pieces.
Toji Zenin lands, and each half of the Imposter lands on either side of him. He puts the blade back into his cursed spirit. “I suppose that you won’t mind if I crack open that treasure vault, would you?” The Imposter’s body does nothing but spew blood and remain silent, dead. “Fuck…I need a drink.”
